And we’re off again.
Will Joe have a better day today? It seems unlikely given his luck so far. And look how it’s going on this page - he hasn’t even got into work yet. Don’t worry though, even though it’s looking like more of the same, I’m excited about some of the things I’ve got planned for this issue. I think they’re going to be great fun to make and I hope for you to read. We’ll have to see.
Not to get too meta, but on a side note -
I’m beginning to realise that I’m probably not able to make Joe’s Heebie Jeebies any faster than I am already. Going by how far along I am (not very far at all) on issue 2, it’s still looking like it’s going to take about the same amount of time as issue 1 (four years!). Which is four times as long as I thought it was going to take when I finished the first issue.
The trouble is, I know when things are not right but it can sometimes take me ages to work out how to fix them. I suppose I could let things stand at ‘good enough’ and get it done quicker, but not only does that go against the main reason I wanted to do this in the first place, it’s also not really in my nature to even think like that.
I suppose what I’m trying to say is if you’re still with me, thank you for waiting so long between instalments.
Until next time.
As usual, physical and digital copies of issue 1 are available from the online store.
