Although, I have to say that it's probably more exciting for me than for you.

When I started all of this, nearly five years ago, I never thought it was going to take this long. But I never thought it would be this enjoyable either. I've had some good feedback from issue one - even if it was completely from friends and family who are going to be nice about it in any case.

The thing is, I'm not trying to set the comicbook world on fire. I just want to make something gentler, less confrontational with more of a focus on the characters. When I started, I gave myself two rules - no hitting and no guns. Practically every comicbook I've ever read revolves around one or both of these things - and I'm not criticising here (I still 'read' or really, look at the art of, my old superhero comics). I don't know enough about those things to put them in my story anyway.

I'd love to hear from any other readers to see how they (you) think I'm doing.
